In most cases, yes — wind, hail, and storm-related damage are typically covered. Ironclad handles the inspection and documentation and works alongside your insurer through the claims process, so you're not navigating it alone.
We're open for calls 24/7 — not the typical 8-5, weekdays-only setup most roofing companies run on. Inspections, repairs, client communication, and contract signings happen 7 days a week with wide hours. Builds themselves are scheduled on weekdays, but reaching us and getting the process started never waits for business hours.
Residential roofs are typically steep-slope shingle or metal systems sized for a single home. Commercial roofs are often low-slope, larger in scale, and involve different materials and code requirements. Ironclad handles both, with crews and materials suited to each.
Both — Ironclad installs roofing on new builds in addition to repair, replacement, and storm restoration, for residential and commercial projects alike.
Ironclad is based in Charlotte, NC, currently serving North Carolina and South Carolina, with our Florida division opening soon.

The man behind the shield
Ironclad is a Charlotte-based roofing company built on one principle: RELIABILITY!
GregFounder
The story
Long before Greg founded Ironclad Roofing Pros, he had already spent many years inside the roofing and restoration industry.
He learned the business from the ground up, gaining firsthand experience with roofing systems, storm damage, property restoration, and the decisions homeowners are forced to make when something goes wrong.

But Greg also saw the industry from a perspective most roofing contractors never do.
Roofing inspector documenting storm damage on a residential roof in Charlotte, NC
Before founding Ironclad, he became a licensed public adjuster, working within the insurance claims process and learning how property damage is evaluated, documented, scoped, and ultimately navigated.
That experience changed the way he approached roofing.
Greg didn't just understand what was happening on the roof.
He understood what was happening around it.
He saw how overwhelming a storm claim could become for a homeowner. The inspections. The photographs. The estimates. The terminology. The paperwork. The questions about what was damaged, what needed to be replaced, and whether the proposed scope actually reflected what was happening with the property.
Years later, that knowledge would become one of the foundations of Ironclad Roofing Pros.
Today, Greg brings that background advantage to every project, giving homeowners the benefit of someone who understands both the construction side of roofing and the complexities that can surround storm-related property damage.
But the real reason behind Ironclad is even closer to home.
01
A father first
Greg is the proud dad of four daughters.
And raising four girls has shaped the way he thinks about responsibility, home, and protection.
To Greg, one of a father's most important jobs is making sure his family is safe.
That means knowing the doors are locked.
Knowing everyone made it home.
Knowing the people you love have somewhere safe to sleep when the weather outside turns ugly.
And yes, knowing the roof over their heads is solid.
There is a certain peace that comes from hearing a storm roll through at night and knowing the structure protecting your family was built correctly.
Greg sleeps better knowing his does.
He believes his customers deserve that same feeling.
That belief became Ironclad.
02
Why Ironclad?
Greg didn't want to build another roofing company focused on getting to the next sale.
He wanted to build the kind of company he would trust with his own home and his own family.
A company that knows its craft.
A company that tells homeowners what they actually need to know.
A company that pays attention to what others overlook.
A company that understands that behind every roof is something far more important than shingles, fasteners, decking, or metal.
There are people underneath it.
The shield is a promise, not a logo
Families.
Children.
Memories.
Everything someone has worked to build.
That's why the shield represents more than a logo.
It's a promise.
To inspect thoroughly.
To communicate clearly.
To build with integrity.
To know the details.
And above all, to protect what matters.
Because when the next storm rolls in, you shouldn't have to wonder about the roof over your family's head.
You should know it's Ironclad.
